In order to inculcate a sense of social responsibility among the students and also to develop their client counselling skills the College has established Legal Aid Clinic in 2012. The Clinic plays an important role is spreading legal literacy among the people of neigbouring villages and in making available free legal advice to the poor and needy litigants. This is done by conducting socio-legal surveys and by organizing legal literacy camps in surrounding villages. The College also collaborates with Taluka Vidhi Sahayya Samiti of the Baramati Court in its efforts to spread legal literacy.

2012-13

  1. Inauguration of Free Legal Aid Clinic by Hon’ble Mr. Justice R.C. Chavan of Bombay High Court of Judicature on
  2. Legal Literacy camp held at Katewadi on in association with Baramati Taluka Vidhi Sahayya Samiti. Mr. Hitendra Shah, Asst. Professor gave information about the Hindu Succession Act to the villagers. Asst. Public Prosecutor Adv. V.N. More gave information on Motor Accident and Insurance

 

2014-15

  1. Socio-legal survey was conducted at Saval Tal. Baramati.

  2. Legal Literacy Camp was held at Saval Tal. Baramati. In this camp the students gave information to the villagers on various laws such as Hindu Succession Act, Hindu Marriage Act, Consumer Protection Act, Law of Partition and Land Law.LL.B._I_student_discussed_Maintenance_under_S.125_of_Cr._P.C.      LL.B._I_student_discussed_Consumer_Protection_Act
  3. The final year students with the help of the faculty gave free legal advice to the villagers.

2015-16

  1. Socio-Legal Survey was conducted at Dorlewadi Tal. Baramati.
  2. Legal Literacy camp was held at Dorlewadi Tal. Baramati. In this camp the students gave information to the villagers on various laws such as Hindu Marriage Act, Hindu Succession Act, Consumer Protection Act, Motor Vehicle Act and Land Law.
  3. Socio-Legal Survey was conducted at Tandulwadi Tal. Baramati.
  4. Legal Literacy camp was held at Tandulwadi Tal. Baramati.In this camp the students gave information to the villagers on various laws such as Hindu Marriage Act, Hindu Succession Act, Consumer Protection Act, Motor Vehicle Act and Land Law.
  5. In both these camps free legal advice was given to the villagers by the final year students and faculty members.
  6. Legal Literacy Camp was held at Deulgaon Rasal on 27/12/2015.
