Students from universities other than university of Pune have to obtain an eligibility certificate if not obtained by the student, he / she may not be allowed to appear for the university Examination or his / her result may be withheld. Such students are therefore, advised to carefully note the procedure for obtaining an eligibility certificate. Applications for eligibility certificate is to be made through The Prrincipal, Vidya Pratishthan’s Vasantrao Pawar Law College, Vidyanagari, Bhigwan Road, Baramati Dist- Pune, in the priscribed form. Such application should be accompanied by –

A. A fee of Rs. 200/- in case of student migrating from the universities within Maharashtra state or a fee of Rs. 300/- in case of a student migrating from the universities outside Maharashtra state. This fee is not refundable.

B. A fee of Rs. 200/- in case of student joining any course on the basic of having passed qualifying examination from the Pune University

C. A migration certificate from the university from which the student wants to migrate.
Rules Regarding Examinations

To Pass All Examination the Student must obtain 35% of Marks in each paper and 50% of the total Marks obtainable in the Examination. The Rules for the ATKT (Allowed to keep Term) are the same as prescribed by university of pune. The Semester System has ben introduced for both 5 years & 3 Years LL.B. Courses from the academic year 2002-2003.

Above 70% Distinction 60-69% First Class
55-59 % Higher Second Class 50-54% Second Class

 

 Rules Regarding Fees
Note : T.C. Fee will be charged extra and will be taken at the time of issuing of the certificate.
In case of revision in the eligibility fee, the additional fee (as per revision) will be collected from the students.
For students belonging to other than Maharashtra state, the tuition fees will be two times of the tuition fees.
For foreign students tuition fees will be five times of the tuition fees.
E.B.C students will have to pay full fees at the time of admission. Tuition fees will be refunded on receiving the amount from the Government.

Every Fresh entrant in the college has to pay Rs. 301- for the medical examination he has to undergo as per the Pune University Rules.

All fees are subject to change as per the university of Pune rules. B.C. students have to submit their scholarship / freeships form at the time of admission only and if it is not submitted, the full fee has to be paid at the time of admission. This fee will be immediately refunded to them on receipt of their scholarship/free ship form.

 Candidates from outside Maharashtra :
Relevant extract from Order 30/10/2002 of University of Pune is as follows :
Maharashtra state Candidate : Means a Candidate Passing SSC or HSC (std. XII) or both examinations from recognized Institution in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Domiciled candidates : Means a candidates passing HSC (std. XII) examination from recognized institution outside Maharashtra state but Father & Mother of the candidate or the candidate is domiciled of the state of Maharashtra, subject to production of certificate from competent Authority.

 Candidate from Outside Maharashtra State :
Means a candidate whose Domicile status is outside Maharashtra and has passed his qualifying examination from university outside Maharashtra. He will be eligible for admission as candidate from outside Maharashtra. A Candidate whose Domicile Status is outside Maharashtra state, but who has passed his qualifying examination form a statutory university in the state of Maharashtra but has passed his HSC or its equivalent examination from a recognized school outside the state of Maharashtra will be eligible for admission to an institution which lies in the jurisdiction of the university. He will be considered as candidate from Outside Maharashtra State.A Candidate whose Domicile status is outside Maharashtra and who has passed his / her qualifying examination from Pune university but has passed his/ her HSC or equivalent examination from outside Maharashtra State, while filling in the application form for admission he/she should indicate the Domicile status as. Other than… ‘Maharashtra.’
 Refund of Fees on Cancellation of Admission as per university Rules :
The candidate cancelling his / her admission will be entitled to receive the refund of fees after reducing the amounts as indicated in the following table :
